On Wednesday, October 11, a packed house is expected to attend Fall Gentlemen’s Night at Tuscan Kitchen with proceeds to benefit The Chase Home for Children in Portsmouth. Organized by Robin Pinzone, owner of REP Branding Co., and J. Hilburn Stylists Bill MacDonald and Graham Shaffer-Rais, the event will feature “a night of elevated style and wellness.”
“This is the third Gentlemen’s night that we’ve helped put on, and the second one where we’ve included Chase Home,” said Pinzone. “We feel that this is a great way to bring the community together for a not-so-typical networking event or fundraiser.”
At the event, guests will enjoy live music from Dana Brearley, a cigar tutorial from Federal Cigar, a preview to fall fashions by Shaffer-Rais and MacDonald, food, a raffle and more. Although the event is free, donations are encouraged with proceeds to directly support Chase Home, which Pinzone referred to as “a safe place for our community’s youth.”
“[Chase Home] aligns with everything that these businesses want to accomplish in Portsmouth,” she said. “We are working towards creating a better community, a more confident community and one where small businesses flourish.”
According to Chase Home Board Member Mike LaLime, owner of TRE Cleaning & Restoration, Pinzone, MacDonald and Shaffer-Rais are to be commended for their efforts.
“We are really thankful for their continued support of our agency,” he said. “Chase Home can’t meet the needs of kids in crisis without caring members from the community stepping up.”
Founded in 1877 as an orphanage, Chase Home meets the needs of youth and families in crisis.
“We have worked behind the scenes for decades—events like this help to shed light on needs right in our community,” added LaLime.
