In celebration of #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media, The Chase Home has received a $5,000 grant as part of KidCents Thanks For Giving Holiday program. The grant will be used to support community and residential-based services and programs for at-risk youth and families.

“We are proud to be a part of the KidCents Thanks For Giving Holiday program,” said Meme Wheeler, executive director. “This past #GivingTuesday and everyday, The Rite Aid Foundation’s support helps us to continue improving the lives of children in our community.”

Through KidCents, members of Rite Aid’s loyalty program, wellness+ rewards, can round up their in-store or online purchases to the nearest dollar and give their change to one of more than 440 nonprofit organizations focused on improving the health and wellbeing of children. For more information, visit www.kidcents.com.

Founded in 1877, The Chase Home in Portsmouth is one of the oldest nonprofits in New Hampshire, serving more than 140 at-risk youth annually statewide through prevention, early intervention, residential and community-based programs. Some youth are served in the community while others live at Chase Home.
