With a software sales background, Phil Demers has joined the board of directors at The Chase Home in Portsmouth. Founded in 1877, The Chase Home provides at-risk youth across the state with prevention, early intervention, residential, and community-based services. “I was drawn to The Chase Home after learning about the history as well as its overall mission,” he said. “Their programs really aim to help out in different ways, tackling challenges faced by children, youth, and families from various angles and with the goal to create more positive outcomes.”

Regarding his role at The Chase Home, Demers said he envisions himself helping plan fundraising events and leveraging a diverse network of colleagues, friends and associates in service of its mission. “I’m also happy to pick up a paint brush or bang a few nails whenever needed,” he added.
